Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that this week we had some other administrators and teachers in from the district. They were hugely impressed with the school, the friendliness of the pupils, the leadership of the teachers and the strength and character of our School Council. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved and it was lovely to share the great things that happen at Epiphany with the outside world.

Happy Pancake Day to everybody - Thank you so much to Connie and her crew for putting on a wonderful Pancake Day lunch for everybody!! If your child doesn't like pancakes, please send in something else for them to eat.

Our first few days of implementing the ASPA funding have gone wonderfully, we had well over 40 kids attend the trip to Bay Roberts Bowling this Friday and 30 kids stay behind this afternoon. Please note that to accommodate these events, we will be laying on a bus on Mondays and Thursdays only.  There will be no bus on Tuesday!

We were massively lucky this week to have had a visit from Glynnis Baxter, of the Coles bookstore in the Village Mall. Glynnis was here to deliver nearly $1000 worth of books to update and renovate our classroom libraries. This, combined with a delivery from scholastic of 50 new books for each classroom library has made for a fantastic week for our kids. I would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of the staff and myself for all of the wonderful gratitude that was shown to us this week. The treats, the goodies, the cards and the smiles were all hugely appreciated. Thnak you for being such a wonderful parent community.

The Bowling Trip that was postponed from last Friday will run this Friday (17th) please see the letter from Mr. Lye regarding this. Over the coming weeks we will be looking to further expand the ASPA program over the coming weeks. Please keep tuned for changes!

With Valentine's Day coming up, we invite all of our students to wear red this Tuesday to celebrate. During the day the school will be collecting loonies and toonies  for the Janeway appeal. If your child can bring in a dollar or two, it would be hugely appreciated. As usual, we are looking forward to spreading the love within the school through random acts of kindness and caring.

The Bowling Trip scheduled for tonight will be postponed due to the weather conditions. We will rearrange this as soon as possible and details will be sent home on Monday. Thank you for your patience.
